The client, who came to me with a brand new business, had a general idea of what they wanted and it was my job to make that idea come to life. The original name he had was Sail Signs, however, since the product (portable LED signage) was to be displayed on the street, the client went with my idea of Street Sails instead which is more indicative of the product.
My brainstrorming always starts with work in the sketchbook, this allows for a breadth of ideas. Here are some final logo ideas for the company presented to the client, the final decision landed on version H.
