I have an immense respect and admiration for Julie Andrews as an artist, entertainer, and just awesome human being. She turns 80 this year, and I think she deserves a Google doodle to commemorate it. I did this digitally, using scanned watercolor textures to keep a handmade feel. Hidden in the flowers you will find icons and awards that represent her amazing career and service, and her pose and the flowers refer to "The Sound of Music," which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year as well.
