Kit overview.
The GATO Package Set is a project developed for the Package Design class, oriented by Prof. Michael Whitney on Fall 2014. The project challenge was to design a 7-pieces kit of related products (and the logo), each in a different form, in order to explore all the shapes, materials, and solutions that could be possibly used.
GATO Pet Accessories was the fictional name created for the "kitten-starter-kit". The products were targeted for the “crazy cat women”: ladies engaged to protect and take care of lots of cats, usually street cats.\
The packaging system consists in a pattern made with illustrated cats and a different crazy cat woman in each product, advising and giving important tips about educating and pet-caring. This set was designed to be funny, eye-catching and clean, using a black and white illustrated background associated with the red color of the logo.
