SCAD Branded products are developed by students and alumni under Working Class Studio, a division of the Savannah College of Art and Design. These various SCAD memorabilia can be found at shopSCAD as well as each campus location: (Atlanta, Hong Kong, Lacoste, and the flagship location Savannah). The two distinctive designs I have illustrated capture the essence of the Savannah College of Art and Design. Each one has gained so much momentum that both designs have been featured multiple times on SCAD Day, a weekend event where prospective SCAD students and their families tour the school.
SCAD Poetter Hall
Inspired by the inner workings within a beehive, this whimsical design showcases the seeds of creativity that are planted within the SCAD Bees’ community. Featuring the Savannah College of Art and Design’s mascot—Art the Bee—this illustrative type design has cultivated a great following by also featuring the very first building established at SCAD, Poetter Hall.
SCAD Est. 1978
Inspired by the wave of a flag, this design stays grounded by featuring the founding year of the Savannah College of Art and Design. The design displays fun and playful colors while inspiring creativity inside those connected with SCAD.
