The Atlas system used by Virginia Tech’s IT department is an Oracle forms based system used for work orders, inventory, purchase orders, human resource management, budgets, and account receivables. The Pickticket/Picklist aspect of the system is used in the field to place orders for specific tools or consumables from the warehouse inventory. However, the system hosts numerous problems for users, effecting efficiency and usability. A redesign project was conducted to the system and a new iOS app prototype was created with two different screen size interfaces(iPhone and iPad). Prototype and images showed here are from iPad screens of the prototype, which were designed by me.
