In this project, the challenge was to design a pair of earrings inspired by a music. My selected music was a contemporary persian song called Hendeseh by Chaartaar band. This song, combines modern electronic rythms with traditional iranian melody and lyrics. Both the melody (especially the solo violin part in 2:44 min. of the song) and the romantic lyric, inspired me to visualize the music by delicate curved lines and fluid forms.
The selected sketch was 3d modeled using Rhino and carved in wax with milling machine. The final piece was cast in bronze.
 

The aim of this project was to design a statement necklace using alternative material casting technique. I started with collecting different kinds of material from nature and experimenting with them casting to see the results, then I started to collage them into different designs. At the end I came up with a little creature from nature with a playful figure sitting on a swing and enjoying his time. The final piece was cast in bronze.
