This was a project for my Graphic Design Media Management class. We were asked to re-design a magazine (cover and three spreads). I immediately thought about creating my own magazine. I talked it over with my professor and he LOVED the idea. I created my own mock "Free People" magazine that would be issued every month. It would combine both their lookbooks as well as their blog material. 

 

Free People has a fabulous blog that is all about fashion and inspiration. I wanted to create this unique magazine that focused on specific events / trips / interviews that Free People would have had in the previous month, and along-side tag the clothing and accessories that they would wear along with an item number / price / size / etc. that a normal lookbook would have. 

 

I added decorative elements, such as arrows and lines to break up some of the text and make my magazine seem cohesive with the rest of their design style.
