Planetary Orbits Timeline

“Planetary Orbits” is a web timeline hosted on National Geographic’s “Cosmos: A Spacetime Odessy” website. This timeline depicts the time it takes for each planet in our solar system to make one revolution around the sun. It is a a single page, scrolling experience with an optional navigation bar that will drop the user down to the specified planet.
Although this timeline is in the time scale defined by our planet, Earth, days and years are defined differently on each planet. This additional content is provided in a drawer that slides down when the user clicks on each of the planet headers within the timeline.
