Tesla Lobby Project

Tesla Lobby, Boston, MA
April 2011
Through Tesla's cars, their mission is clearly shown through the connection between the driver, the car, and the environment. Tesla not only gets people from place to place, the company is also moving forward as a leader in sustainable transportation. This company's headquarters was designed with the essence of light and speed in mind, showing how it is advancing in the world of transportation.

It is clear through the perspectives seen that movement was a main goal. The inlays of contrasting materials on the first floor and the mezzanine leads a person throughout the lobby, along with the suspended magazine stand and flower shop.  As seen in the axonometric view below, the emphasis is placed on the view of the park located to the north where the majority of seating sits.
