This project was made during the University of Michigan MPowered Entrepreneurship Makeathon, a 36-hour product design competition. Julian Rebel, Lauren Sklarsky, and I worked on this project. We wanted to make something that was both aesthetically pleasing and fun to play with. I came up with the idea to make a lamp that allows you to control the color values of the lights inside. Below is the prototype we built, which ultimately won us the competition in the Toys and Entertainment category. We are planning on pursuing the project further, and possibly doing a limited production run of the lamp once we finalize all hardware and design details.
