Well, somebody's gotta do it
When Ron Jones of Byron Jones Inc. calls, I never know just what I'll be doing for him next. I've designed his golf club packaging forever, so he knows me well. Apparently better than I knew myself. Other stuff I've done for him include website design, logo design, brochure design, copper sink design (for his side business, Masterpiece Sinks), trade-show booth design, and of course packaging. He knew I could do it, even if I didn't.
So, when Ron said he needed me to design golf club medallions, drivers, shafts, bags, etc. for his annual presentation to The Sports Authority, I had to be honest and said I didn't know the first thing about it. "You can do it, Tom. Just dive in."
