The North Gopuram of the amazing Meenakshi Amman Temple in the temple city of Madurai, Tamil Nadu.

 

The temple has 14 Gopurams or 'gateways' in total, which are all filled with innumerable figures of Gods, animals and Demons, painted in bright hues. Its an incredible sight reflecting the culture of South India.
