This is from a collection of experimentation with using different fabrics, colors, and materials. I utilized mostly hand-work for these fabric manipulations. I concentrated on creating new fabrics from weaving, felting (needle and wet), embroidery, applique, hand-spinning yarn, and braiding. I used mostly yarns, wools, and embroidery thread for these studies. I took these samples and began placing them within classic 1960's inspired children's wear silhouettes to generate color, texture, and design ideas for future projects.
