Early Concept Matrix Sketches - Used to quickly produce possible ideas and concepts for a logo
Early Concept Matrix Sketches - Further exploration of possible concept ideas
Concept Sketches - I knew by this point that I wanted to show a natural/real form morphing into a form made of circuitry, but I hadn't quite decided what form I wanted to use to show my concept of technology taking over life. The use of a tree more successfully suggested the concept of technology taking over nature, which is not what I was going for, so I continued my sketches and brainstorming.
These are the sketches in which I got the idea to use the figure of a person.  I actually was just doodling at this point, frustrated that I hadn't found a form I wanted to use yet and I realized that the top left form looked sort of like a person.  That's where I came across the idea to used a human figure in my logo and I sketched a few more ideas out to better show my concept.
These are the quick sketches I did of my concept before moving to the computer.  I decided it would strengthen my concept to use more than one figure in my logo to show the progression from human to technology.  Using three figures allowed the logo to represent a full progression from one state to the next rather than just juxtaposing two entriely different states.
