Asked to curate and design a book around the works of environmentalist Wendell Berry. Chose the theme "the physicality of memory" and designed each spread with the theme in mind. Included a variety of hand-made elements to add interactivity. All photographs are old family photographs of mine, or were taken by a member of my family.

 

Created in Adobe Photoshop and InDesign and bound by hand. Printed on Whitewash Construction 70 paper and set in Vitesse and Playfair Display. Includes transparency paper, marker, bookbinding linen, and mylar elements. Cover screenprinted with white ink. Sleeve hand-made from plexiglass and made opaque using a power sander. Accordion and perfect bound.
