My third assignment in my Drawing and Design for Illustrators course last spring. We were to choose a poem by Charles Bukowski; I had chosen "Genius of the Crowd" and took from it that not everything is as it seems. My concept revolved around a siren looking beautiful from above the water, but below, she was rather mutilated.
