Prospector's Variety Pack

The creation of the Prospector’s Variety Pack was inspired by the history of Dodgeville, Wisconsin. Named after the mining ghost town that stood where present-day Dodgeville is located, Dirty Hollow Brewing Co. was established with a focus on the interesting lead mining history of southwestern Wisconsin.

Because the majority of early settlers in the area were Cornish and English, the variety pack is made up of six different Cornish/English style beers. Each is named after a different lead mine that was in southwestern Wisconsin: Blockhouse Lager, Crescent Bitter, Empire Porter, Frontier Pale Ale, Hoskins Brown Ale, and Sunset Shandy.

Located on each bottle label is a brief historical note and illustration of the corresponding mine. The history of Dirty Hollow is located on the side panel of the carrier and a map showing the location of the brewery is placed on the bottom. Various brand campaigns and special deals would also incorporate a canary on the inside of select bottle caps.

Target demographic: men and women in their twenties and thirties with a love for tasty craft brews from microbreweries that have a compelling story to share.
