was held to celebrate the whale shark and its special

Organised by the Maldives Whale Shark Research Programme (MWSRP),
it was held at A.Dh Dhangethi on the 6th of December 2014.
The festival brought together islanders from across the atoll, in a one day event
to raise awarness of marine life and Whale sharks. A massive effort was put in
by all the volunteers who helped organise, carry out and market the festival
over a course of 3 months.
