Charity Poster Competition initiated by Matthias Grieder, Zeitvertrieb, Vienna, Austria
»JAPAN Now« is setting signs – against nuclear power and pro global solidarity – and the sale of the posters will be donated to help the victims of the disaster in Japan. The net revenue goes to the charity organization »Jugend eine Welt«/Don Bosco, from where the funds will be given to local Japanese helpers. More information is available on www.jugendeinewelt.at

Designers were asked to create a poster that interprets the Japanese flag considering the catastrophic tsunami in 2011. The poster at the top was exhibited at the »Designforum Vienna« in May 2011.
