Help bring a poker video game to life? I’m all in.
This video game campaign taunts gamers to take on the poker player everyone loves to hate.
The world of professional poker is filled with interesting characters, none more colorful than the infamously egotistical Phil “The Brat” Hellmuth. To get hardcore poker and video game fans excited about Activision’s World Series of Poker, we ran TV and banner ads challenging them to visit a microsite to see if they could “Beat the Brat” (so to speak).
BeatTheBrat.com (no longer live) not only let gamers get a sneak preview of the upcoming World Series of Poker video game, but gave them a chance to “Beat The Brat” and earn a special cheat code for the game. 
The cheat code from the web site allowed users to play against a beat-up “Brat” character in the video game.
