A set of hand-made statement jewelry pieces created through a group assignment in my first year of University. The project features a play of mixed media and selective choices of colours to express the different climatic seasons - winter, autumn, summer, spring.

 

Copper rods were cut to pieces using a hand saw, soldered to piece them together and later manually sanded to finish the pieces. Tiny grooves were created on the surface of the rod to help the coloured embriodery floss stay in position.
