'Shilthul' uses the philosophical leanings (or the lack of it) of its two central characters as tools in a narrative to bring out the nuances and social undercurrents flowing in incidents from an ‘everyday’ life. With that being the basic functional idea behind the project, this proposed graphic novel, seeks to explore and capture the current phenomenon of mass movements and citizen activism as prevalent in the urban social milieu, in particular the LGBT rights movement.
