Approach
Building on the concept of "finding" letters, I Found It! A Guide to Invention and Discovery showcases the ABCs of inventions and discoveries, ranging from the biplane and jet engine to the sewing machine and Uranus.
Each discovery is accompanied by found letters as well as historical materials about the invention collected at antique stores.
The book presents the information in a visual style that reflects the simultaneously historical and modern qualities of the inventions. The lively spreads are intermixed with quotes from featured inventors.
