Armocenas, n. From the Greek, meaning art in motion.
Armocenas is a portuguese Theatre Production Company. Because it is an entertainment company, I wanted the logo to represent this somehow. The solution was to introduce something that is very associated with entertainment, a spotlight, and incorporate it in the logo. I opted to illustrate 3 crossed spotlights as 3 is a prime, perfect, harmonious and in Cantonese it is even considered a happy number. Also, as a theatre company, it is expected of it to create a strong emotional bond with the audience, hence the use of warm colours.
