During Summer 2014 I was an intern at C&C Joint Printing Co., (H.K.) Ltd. in Hong Kong. I was responsible for designing and marketing new stationary products for its subsidiary company Spring Innovative Workshop. One of the projects was to design a series of decorative masking tape which promotes Hong Kong's local culture. It is named Zi2 Gaau1 Daai3 as it is the phonetic spelling of the word "masking tape" in Hong Kong's native dialect Cantonese. Below are the series of 9 patterns I illustrated and designed.

I also help with composing the information on the packaging labels that go on the front and back of the masking tape. Later they were mass produced and first sold in the 2014 Hong Kong Book Fair in late July. They are currently selling in more than 30 book stores (Commercial Press; Joint Publishing; Chung Hwa Book Co.) in Hong Kong as well as on the online store Pinkoi.
