Mosaic is an energy-efficient and versatile lighting solution for entrance areas and lobbies, inspired by natural geometrical patterns. Mosaic’s design allows it to spread in space as a luminous 3D-puzzle. By populating its modular-lighting-units Mosaic can be flexibly shaped in unique space formations to fulfill lighting requirements specified by architects and lighting designers.
Mosaic was submitted as entry to the student competition of “LAMP Lighting Solution Awards 2013″. The theme of the student competition was “Light to Connect”; lighting projects, both indoor and outdoor, in which light is used as a tool to connect people and/or spaces: squares, streets, parks, beaches, malls, airports, car parks, etc. (Only idea-based projects was being accepted to this competition).
