A project to re imagine the notion of a stool. In a team of three we hope to convey the use of alcohol in Britain and inform of the dangers.

After initially prototyping the first idea we felt that we had lost the personality of the stool. So through more prototyping we developed a new outcome that followed the a scaled version of the average mans proportions.
Adding the rounded edges to the joints also gave it a human feel.

In the workshop we developed the dowel joints for our stools legs and arms which we felt added to the effect we wanted to achieve.
