This is my project for my Journalistic/Editorial Photogoraphy class. I went to my home town of Salem, Indiana and took pictures of the people walkng around on the square as well as the side streets.
This couple was taking money to help with the Washington County Humane Society, they are also affiliated with the Eagles Club.
This guy was on his break, as it looks, and I had just came around the corner and seen him sitting there on his phone and smoking a cigeratte, and I just thought what a great pic that would be for my street project. Although when he noticed me taking his picture he went back in side.
This was taking on the square in Salem, Indiana. I love the action of the guy walking to open the door to the building.
This was taken on water st. in Salem, I love this picture it reminds me of Mayberry. The old man by the door of the barber shop has set there for many years, and I just thought what a great way to show some nastalgia of Salem.
