A logotype for a hypothetical textile and interior design company utilizing a reconstructed version of Beton wide. Each letter was carefully created by hand after a sample found in American Metal Typefaces of the Twentieth Century, by Mac McGrew.
The name Swallowtail is taken from the swallowtail butterfly. Their brilliantly patterned wings serve as the inspiration for the custom pattern made to compliment the logotype.
Mockups of business cards and throw pillows demonstrate potential use of the logotype and patterns.
