Tired of constantly reading blogs of other travelers, I finally gained the courage to go ahead with my first solo trip abroad, though my parents had not. So my first solo trip was something special. My first attempt at it, and surely not going to be my last. 

There’s an overwhelming sense of freedom when you travel solo. Going by nothing but your instincts and of course your Lonely planet travel guide, to see another part of this world, wandering off into the unknown, all alone, and with some people you happen to meet along the way, was exciting.
 
In the following photographs, i wanted to show the green side of the Angkor Archaelogical Park. As you walk through the park, you'll notice mammoth trees rising out of some of the temples, slowly ripping them apart. While others soar skywards, growing from the tops of temples with their roots coiling more like reptiles than plants.
