As a class project we were asked to create a conceptual swatchbook featuring different types of paper relative to our theme... I came up with a brand of Mohawk paper catered to vinyl record production and packaging called Decibel Paper. 

 

Decibel (dB) -  is a logarithmic unit used to express the ratio between two values of a physical quantity, often power or intensity.

 

In this case, relating back to music I chose to create the paper swatches in different decibel formations that you would see on a visual equalizer. I categorized these formations in to five different genres; Lounge, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Rock, and Classical. giving a brief about each as well as relating them to the paper samples.
