From the hip
Over a long period of time instinct has played an increasingly large part in capturing my photographs.
On a number of occasions in the last year I have taken this a stage further.
Observing what is happening around, anticipating movements and then photographing from the hip without seeing what actually the camera is seeing. This combined with the lens aperture being wide open & the camera on autofocus gives an exitement to what will emerge.
