I was lucky enough to be working in Essex on the 18th November and see a small wintering flock of Bearded Tits.  It is unusual to see these birds so out in the open during the winter as they prefer to skulk in the bottom of reedbeds.  Disappointinly the light was poor and I have experimented with a few of the following pictures.
