I've had the pleasure of understanding all the basics from one very important Photography course that I didn't quite take seriously until I got into it.
This was my Environmental project and I had the pleasure of snapping up pictures in George's studio where he polished jewelry. I found a lot of character in George. I think he was my favorite subject because we were both so awkward during the shoot. Everything had to be so natural. Opening someone up on camera when they are aware of having a camera in their face isn't easy but George was a natural talent.
