Historic and urbanistic study of the development of the industrial landscape who characterize the Olona river area near from Milan. In the inflection point we find three cities -Busto Arsizio, Castellanza and Legnano) very different between them in the begining, but turned into an unic urban-industrial complex that needs to be understood as it, with a new definition of areas, infrastructure and the importance that this city-juntion takes as an exchange point with international commerce and research.
