This is a custom play workbench I designed and fabricated for my son. The workbench is based off a full scale woodworking bench, but I scaled it down to a size appropriate for a small child. The design was created using Autodesk Inventor and the final product was fabricated using reclaimed pine and birch plywood. As a special feature, I include hand cut, exotic hardwood, butterfly keys, in the construction of the work surface.
