Concept: UnityMD is a SaaS product I designed to provide solutions for the many complicated problems hospitals face when trying to bring a mobile web experience to their patients. The Mobile/Responsive Hospital Platform was developed as a turnkey solution for cross-functional hospital marketing and operations teams. The system allows for non-technical teams to deploy mobile user experiences to the general public and their patients. UnityMD allows for institutions to distribute their message and key interactions for marketing, HR, patient registration, and community education.

UNITYMD MODULES OVERVIEW
Following is an overview of each of the modules within UnityMD. I served as the business analyst to define business requirements while working with hospital staff utilizing each primary toolset. Using this information I worked through the design process from database design through UX and programming.

Online HR Careers Management and HR Job Posting Tools
The UnityMD HR modules allow for the easy automation and management of the entire job application process, securely. With Unity you can create and post job positions online that contain job posting id’s to track and coordinate data with your locally hosted information systems. Manage job posting information and the presentation of your job postings online. You can also use the powerful automated job listings page that is fully searchable online and is shareable to your social networks. Empower your job applicants to quickly, easily, and securely apply for jobs online and engage your workforce with the fully integrated HR tools while savings hundreds of hours per week of manually processing job applicant information.


Online Calendar Registration
Community Education, Calendar of Events, and Course Registration
The UnityMD calendar tools provide a power suite of online calendar management capabilities. Organizations that need to market online courses, advertise events through their social networks, and conduct online course and payment will benefit from this powerful toolset. Community Education teams for example can create and post calendar events, courses, or other events on a category-based calendar with a full template system to manage course attendee limits, Also, a powerful course roster feature allows teams to manage course attendance and payment status for each attendee.


Physicians Directory
The Physicians Directory is a potent set of tools. It allows hospitals to manage a large set of physician information to attract patients and provide a unified portal for physician research. The integrated toolset allows organizations to quickly and easily manage key information such as education, certifications, office location, office phone number, and automated mapping via Google Maps. Other features include the full automation of physician web pages for every physician in the system, creating a marketing landing page for physicians. Some of our clients manage thousands of physicians with ease where UnityMD handles all the nuts and bolts transparently and faithfully behind the scenes. The Physicians Directory allows organizations to advertise physicians through a streamlined interface, automated the construction of mobile physician web pages in just a few clicks (and in most cases with no clicks at all).



Secure Patient Registration
UnityMD boasts a number of tools that streamline the work of the general public as well as the work of internal operations. With the powerful online Patient Registration tool, patients can pre-register online, saving time for patients and hospital personnel. Patients can pre-register for a visit or procedure online quickly, easily, and securely. Furthermore, physician data is fully integrated from the UnityMD Physicians Directory so patients can choose from regular or OB specific physicians.

The UnityMD Patient Registration tool is fully customizable so that the form fields and data types line up and match with your local patient information system’s schema. This powerful data mapping allows for you to quickly and easily deploy secure patient registration online. Furthermore, UnityMD provides the ultimate in security with secure data transfer online and provides a robust automation for secure data automation into your physically secured server into your patient information tool, where at that point, within seconds it is erased from online permanently for ultimate security.


Online Learning and Continuing Education
The UnityMD Online learning module allows organizations to create unlimited online courses. With a powerful toolset, instructors can create and deploy engaging online course content that will work for achieving an anytime/anywhere mobile strategy. Deploy online courses with ease.



Online Giving Integration
Raise money and manage donors effectively by integrating the the industry-leading online giving platform, BlackBaud. UnityMD allows organization to quickly and easily manage online donations with BlackBaud’s integrated merchant services.
