2014 monthly challenge: July
For July's shoe challenge, I moved from exploring Victorian influenced designs to Japanese inspired designs. The first shoes were directly influenced by the paper sliding doors used to separate rooms. The second pair of shoes investigated images of Japan through a textile collage. Although the first shoe is fun in its own way, I definitely prefered the textile only approach of the second shoe. I will continue this approach through the project's remaining months.
