This is the time generation that genders get flipped over, the girl is never ready to be a house wife type. What else can you do with a school girl turn bad.
This Spring/ Summer collection is all about girls messing up with their school uniforms. As if an all-ning-party caused a bad hangover. The girl show up with messed lipsticks and off worn shirts. A mundane lifestyle is out in today’s dictionary and the traditional silhouettes should be redefined.
The collection is reconstructed from basic shirt and skirt forms. A new placement of necklines and collars, wrap shirts around shoulders with a metal ring on the back, elongated and doubled pleated skirts and even flip button down shirts up side down… I also play with the traditional tartan, printed on leather and embroidered on top of that to create texture. More techniques are used to create illusion, when two layers of printed organza layer on top of each other, built with sunrise pleat, the colors become more dynamic. Meanwhile, there’s always a sense of hummer when girls seems like messed up two pairs of shoes or wearing mesh boots with their toes shown. The girl is an adventurer, a dreamer, a fantasist. There’s nothing bad to get lost in an idea.
