Because my target audience is 18-24 year olds, the app and social media are very important. All ads and social media assets are meant to drive to the app. Social media advertising and the ability to share with friends would be the primary way of reaching more readers.
These three are ads that would appear on social media to drive people to the facebook, twitter, instagram etc pages, and then to the app and website.
Anyone who followed The Engine on social media would see things like The Daily IQ Boost, which could be shared to friends and increase exposure.
I also created promotional packaging, playing off of the tagline, news to go. The box sleeve has post cards on the back, and the box is filled with stickers and fun things to pass on to friends, as well as a water bottle for the reader.
