From the inception the agency and client had developed a great script, naturally, I was very keen to get involved. The inspiring narrative was like a sequence from a feature film. Shooting in the UK required us to work very closely with our UK production partner Fellow Productions who are specialists when it comes to shooting films in and around Formula 1.

My relationship with Fellow productions goes back over 15 years during which time we worked on numerous MotoGP and Formula 1 projects together. Fellow Productions gave us a good base in London to plan and execute this project, advantageous given the short prep time. At the same time they were busy sourcing the locations and specialized equipment required I.E. remote gyro heads, Russian arm, stunt drivers and aerial support.

Big thank you to Lewis Hamilton for his professionalism and focus on the set. Lewis's natural performance made for a smooth shoot. Thanks also to Malaysian driver Jazeman Jaafar who came on board at short notice and performed admirably in his role as Lewis's partner in the ruse.

Other onset standouts were Mark Cass and the amazing stunt team, the original script had Lewis performing Parkour and free running stunts through the streets of London.

Mark did a great job choreographing the chase scenes and assembling the all-star team, Mark was riding the lead red scooter during the chase scenes. I would also like to thank Rob Durrant the head Curator at Mercedes Benz World in Brooklands, Surrey for all his hard work in organizing the location and logistics.
