"Konam" - T.V. stand is a custom designed movable furniture piece for a residence. The allocated space for the T.V. stand played a role in deciding the dimensions for the stand. The design evolved from the research on the usage of various accessories in addition to the T.V. itself. The straight lined form of the stand was inspired from the spatial character of the room and the materials and colors for the piece are selected to complement the space.

 

The stand was made out of MDF ,teak wood and teak wood veneer, which was later finished with black paint and polish, with the help of a carpenter.
