This new app will bring all the local art museums and galleries to a single place on your smartphone. It will have the ability to find the closest art museums and galleries around you. It will also display a list of the current exhibits at each art museum/gallery.
Currently there are no such apps available that aggregate art exhibits onto a mobile platform. Today over 74% of mobile phone users are using smartphones. That is a huge market ready to consume arts culture. With the popularity of LACMA and MOCA there has been a higher interest in museums and galleries. This app will make it easier for consumers new to the arts to discover local art.
