Welcome to my little space!  On this site you willfind the products of my obsession with all things fiber related.  Iam a self-taught fiber artist specializing in crochet and knit design. Ialso love to weave, dye and felt.  I work mainly in natural fibers as wellas giving new life to old items through re purposing and upcycling.  Icall myself The Yarn Therapist because of my belief that fiber crafts arecompletely theraputic. They offer not only a sense of accomplishment and pridebut also soothe the soul through creativity and and the repetitive movement ofhands. For children, handcrafts offer practice in patience, concentration andfine motor skill development. The brain is geared to release the chemicaldopamine whenever a pleasurable activity, sense of accomplishment and pride inone's work takes place. Dopamine is a natural "feel good"chemical.  Fiber arts are healing arts in mind, body and soul.
