"Sweet Love"- Honey Pot and Honey Dipper
is my design entry to the competition "ALESSI in Love"- 2013.
The task was to come up with a fresh approach to what a gift that expresses love could be and then design an object that could be a gift which expresses an individual's own feeling of love or that could be a gift or a souvenir related to celebration of significant moments in life.
The concept of Honey pot and dipper as a gift or souvenir which symbolizes love was derived from my translation of the feeling "Love", into an everyday object. Love is sweet so is honey and honey is stored in a honeypot. Love spreads sweetness so does honeydipper, by spreading honey. Alessi aesthetics were my insipiration for the design.
