Excerpts from George Orwell's 1984
This is a student project for a typography class in the University of Baltimore's Publications Design Program. The project involved selecting a font and then developing an appropriate vehicle to display it. This book was accordion style, so the entire book could be read in pages, or pulled out to display one long spread. I chose the font avenir, and used quotes from the book 1984. My typography was inspired by Soviet propaganda posters from the early 20th century.
