Forbidden: Undocumented & Queer in Rural America is a web documentary series and full feature documentary about Moises Serrano, a young man in rural North Carolina fighting for immigration and LGBT rights. ODDS was asked to create an identity for this documentary, along with the website which showcases each episode. By restricting the letter “i” in the word Forbidden using the parenthesis, the logo represents the idea of a forbidden identity. The profile figures were used to create the parenthesis which further highlighted the plight of the those whose identity have been restricted. The website was custom designed and developed specifically as a platform for watching each episode and providing information about immigration and LGBT issues, including ways to take action.
