My artworks act as the language that helps me deliver a notion from my understanding of life. Each work is an individual documentary, which records the process of my material exploration and mood change. Through the process of transiting the image pictures from my mind to the medium, I developed various shapes and objects. By repeatedly arranging these visual elements in the picture plane, the work creates an abstract dialogue to communicate with the individual viewers.
While standing in front of a blank canvas, my work randomly starts with one single element like line, color, or a found object. After finishing my placement, I would intentionally break some part of the picture, sometimes, letting the liquid paints pour and drip to see how they construct new organic shapes, or in other ways like drawing some lines and adding color layers to break the comfortable balance. The goal that pushes me forward as an artist is like carving a gemstone, which is not just called beautiful but interesting and meaningful at the same time.
