Cereal To-Go Package

The assignment was to design a prototype of a to-go pack for an existing cereal. The product would be refrigerated and have a place for cereal, milk and a spoon. We were also given the restriction of being limited to two spot colors.

For my prototype, I was inspired by both Starbucks Frappucino cups and Yoplait YoCrunch containers and ultimately used a container from tomatoes to convey my idea. The cereal is held in the clear top portion, and the milk would be held in the bottom container. Each section would be accessed by peeling back a foil cover, and the cereal's section would be flipped to use as a bowl. A small spoon is included attached between the two containers.

Altering the cereal logo was not a requirement, but I chose to do so because I felt an updated logo would better suit my packaging idea than the current logo would.
