I created this zine after watching the documentary "Helvetica" directed by Gary Hustwit. I wanted to work with a lot of white space as it was mentioned many times during the film that that is how Helvetica is best complimented. It was pointed out that Helvetica, a commonly "boring" typeface can become something much more creative and versatile when you change the space that it exists in. 

In my original layout I used solely black and white to emphasize the lights and darks of the typeface.
